Our apartment required a loft to accommodate the workshop/ bookshelf and office, we are allowed to build, but it must be stand alone, thus dismantlable when we move.

Front finished with ply, this isnt going anywhere in a hurry. i guess either are we?

This may be my greatest moment yet! readily available shop towels that are never in the way.

Whiskey bar close at hand to overcome any technical setbacks.

I can even fit my motorcycle in here.

Bookshelf building components sized to produce zero waste from a sheet of ply.

I initially intended to add steel framing to the bookshelf, but it was plenty sturdy without it, that reduces the weight i need to support too.

The library doubles as a handrail and is left open to avoid plunging the rest of the house into darkness. books can be retrieved from the top and the bottom too.
