5V voltage regulation

Just a sketchy little circuit for powering various electronic devices, its probably cheaper / lighter / simpler ( read: more intelligent ) to just buy surface mounted dc | dc power regulators online. but its fun to build the components that go into making electronics, even if it isnt the most sensible solution.

further work:

1. ive since learned how to add reverse voltage protection
2. and id like add some safety measures to avoiding over discharging lithium polymer batteries.
