Coffee table

Ill be taking better photos shortly, these are just quick phone snaps.
This is a brass and white oak coffee table to match the design of our little benches.
The spline miter corner details will hopefully support the frame beyond the strength of end grain gluing,
time will tell if they are enough to resist the main panels warping and forcing them apart.

Our strict no Ikea policy is going to prove challenging with all the boxes and stuff still stacked around our house.
But it was nice to design and build this over the christmas break.
Apart from a router and circular saw and drill press this was all made with hand tools and was designed to fit together without any fastening hardware.
