two minute geiger counter (sort of thing)
we are looking at properties near known superfund sites.
so i figured a vague indication of a levels of harmful materials would be worth investing in.
I got a little radioactive sensing diode array (rd2014) from a swiss company teviso.com
attached it to a battery and a little speaker.
so far with click counting or calibrating it appears to be working, the microwave running made it go insane, whilst background radiation after a rain seems to not be registering.
Ill be attaching a little oled screen that will take care of displaying the µSv and hopefully distinguishing between the beta (electrons), gamma radiation (photons) and X-rays.
